The god who sees and hears
This Sunday we hear the story of Hagar and Ishmael, a story of despair, resilience, and God’s faithful presence. Sent away and forgotten by those around them, Hagar and her son discover a God who sees them, hears them, and refuses to abandon them.
As we mark Father’s Day and National Indigenous Peoples Day, we will reflect on God’s love for families in all their beautiful complexity, and on what it means to listen to voices that have too often been pushed to the margins.
Join us this Sunday, June 21st, at 10AM with Dr. Catherine Cavanagh, as we explore the good news that the God of Hagar is still the God who sees, still the God who hears, and still the God who leads people toward life.
We hope you stay for coffee and fellowship in the gym after the service.
Live stream will start at 9.50AM and chat will be active during the service. If you would like more information about Wall Street contact us at office@wallstreetchurch.com
