What Are you looking for?
Jesus’ first words in the Gospel of John are not a demand or a doctrine, but a question: “What are you looking for?” This Sunday we’ll linger with that question—listening to a story that begins in creation and leads us to water, wilderness, and an unexpected image of God as a lamb. It’s a story that invites us to consider where our lives take root, how we care for a fragile world, and what it might mean to follow a love shaped not by power, but by vulnerability, compassion and hospitality.
Everyone is welcome to join us, and Dr Catherine Cavanagh, for worship at 10AM this Sunday January 18th, when we will also be welcoming new members to our church family.
